A place to begin

There is more to a person than what they are facing.

We take time to understand each person’s needs, circumstances and hopes. From the first conversation onward, care is guided by respect, professional assessment and a plan that can grow with the person.

A note from our director

This work is personal to me.

My family came close to losing my brother to drugs. We struggled to find one safe place that offered skilled help, practical resources and support for the whole family. I remember the fear of wanting to help someone you love and not knowing where to turn.

As a daughter, sister, mother and wife, I have seen how much people can carry while caring for others. The postpartum season and family pressures deserve patience and understanding. I founded SereneMind-Place to help create a place where people are listened to, treated with dignity and supported in finding care that fits their needs.

The recovery journey

Care should make sense, one step at a time.

We begin by listening and assessing what is going on. Together, we shape a plan, review progress and adjust support when needs change. When it is time to move on from a programme, planning and aftercare help make that transition steadier.

For families and caregivers

You do not have to figure it out alone.

Supporting someone through mental health or substance use challenges can raise difficult questions. We can help families understand the care process and find a constructive way to support their loved one, while respecting that person’s rights and privacy.
